Access
Menu: Master data > Areas
Access rights: Users with Master Data management rights
Use the path above to open the screen where you create a new area.
Steps
Step 1
Click NEW to create a new area.
Step 2
After you click NEW, the system adds a new data row on the list view. Enter the area information in that row.
Fields to fill in
| No. | Field | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Area name | Enter the name of the area you are creating. |
| 2 | Area code | Code of the area. The system does not allow duplicate codes. |
| 3 | Area level | Enter the level of the area. This field is required and is used to rank areas when calculating driver income. |
| 4 | Area cluster | Select the area cluster this area belongs to. The list of area clusters is configured on the Area clusters screen. |
| 5 | Active | Select this so the area is shown. |
Step 3
Click SAVE to save what you have entered.
Result
The record after it has been created successfully.
